Stavropoleos Calendar 2014
The 2014 calendar published by Stavropoleos Monastery contains images of the crosses from the monastery collection and lapidarium. There are wood or stone crosses, gathered over the years from abandoned cemeteries and villages, to preserve them and save them from destruction and oblivion. At the same time they can be used as model for those interested in the recovery of authentic tradition of funerary crosses in present day cemeteries. The calendar is on sale at the candle-stand in the church.
