Divine Services
The everyday life of the monastery combines prayer with work. Divine services are celebrated according to monastic tradition, the whole community is present at kliros. On Saturday, Sundays and feast days, divine services are embellished with antiphonal singing on two kliroi: the nuns and the Stavropoleos Psalmodic Group. With the aid of psalm singers, the nuns and the sisters have learned the psaltic notation and traditional singing of the Eastern Church. At their turn, they have young disciples concerned with psaltic singing, who sing on the kliros together with nuns and psalm singers.
